Walking Barefoot in the Sand

Just one more month,
Just one more day,
I can leave this place,
But I will never escape.

I thought it was my salvation,
I thought it was my freedom,
But the pain in their eyes,
Tells me it will never go away.

Why did they send us here?
How was it their right?,
They have plundered and desecrated,
They have ruined millions of lives.

They give their reasons,
They silence our doubts,
But how can you believe them,
They’re killing your children.

They’re claiming a nation,
It is not theirs,
They are murdering a culture,
And controlling us with fear.

Question their motives,
For we are living in fear,
A conquered nation,
